* Festive Special - Sticky Toffee Crumble Cake with Mulled Wine Pears and Cranberries

A soft, date cake topped with mulled-wine-soaked pear slices and a scattering of cranberries, crowned with a golden oaty crumble.  Fabulous on its own, or warm with custard!
(This is a festive version of a brand new recipe we developed for the upcoming "North Yorkshire Cookbook - Second Helpings"!  We are very excited!)
